About Jennifer Thorpe

After earning a Bachelor’s degree in Psychology and completing the BCaBA coursework and supervision requirements at UNT, Jennifer Thorpe realized her professional path would be in specialized programming and education.

Prior to beginning her journey with ABA School Consultants in 2015, Jennifer Thorpe was the Supervisor of the ABA and Autism Learning Center and QMRP Manager at St. Mary’s Residential Training Facility. This residential facility is where she discovered her passion for serving and supporting children and adults diagnosed with Autism and other related disabilities.

According to Jennifer, “I have been gifted the privilege of working with the most incredible students, teachers, paraprofessionals and related service providers, daily.” She fervently believes that this daily journey enables her to provide educators and support personnel with the knowledge and experience to create academic and functional success for students.

Jennifer feels that providing each student opportunities and skill sets that will enhance their daily lives is not only necessary and important, but it also brings them dignity.

Jennifer shares her passion for human dignity through professional development opportunities that include functions of behavior, antecedent/consequence based interventions and strategies, successful learning environments, task analysis, and levels of prompting used within the classroom setting.

When Jennifer is not spending time with her family and chasing her own goals and dreams, she is spreading her love for volunteerism throughout the community and striving to be an advocate for inclusion in all walks of life. We are blessed to have Jennifer as an asset to our community and team
